Myra Freeman, Chair of the Progress Monitoring Committee, released the committee's second annual progress report in Halifax today, October 9. The committee – which monitors the implementation of the recommendations of the Mass Casualty Commission final report – rated progress made over the past year in four areas: community safety and well-being, public health, policing reform and gender-based and intimate partner violence.
