Sydney Curling Club Announcement

The Province is contributing $3 million to the construction of a new, larger curling club in Sydney that will have six sheets of ice, up from the current four, and will allow Sydney to host larger curling tournaments, drawing visitors to the region and providing a boost to the tourism sector.
Addictions and Mental Health Minister Brian Comer, MLA for Cape Breton East, made the announcement at the current Sydney Curling Club location today, April 29, on behalf of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage Minister Dave Ritcey.
