Year-End Results, 2025-26

Total NSLC sales from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, were $898.4 million, up 1.1 per cent from the previous year.


The Nova Scotia Liquor Corp. (NSLC) released its year-end financial results today, June 16.

Total sales from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, were $898.4 million, up 1.1 per cent from the previous year. Beverage alcohol sales totalled $759.5 million, down 0.2 per cent, while cannabis sales reached $138.8 million, up 9.3 per cent.

Earnings totalled $268.8 million, a decrease of 4.1 per cent.

Sales of local products increased 11.2 per cent to $150.9 million. Locally produced beverage alcohol sales increased 11.6 per cent to $111.0 million, including:

  • spirits increased 16.6 per cent to $15.1 million
  • ready-to-drink products increased 14.9 per cent to $43.2 million
  • wine increased 14.1 per cent to $19.4 million
  • beer increased 4.3 per cent to $33.4 million.

Local cannabis sales increased 10.2 per cent to $39.9 million, with Nova Scotia cannabis products accounting for 28.7 per cent of all cannabis sales.

In December, following the Province’s announcement, the NSLC resumed sales of existing product inventory from the United States, which had been paused since March 4, 2025, in response to U.S. tariffs. Sales of U.S. products totalled just over $10 million between December 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.
