The Province is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the homicide of 28-year-old Jayden Tynes.
On November 2, 2025, police responded to a report of shots fired on Cain Street in North Preston. When officers arrived, several people were providing medical assistance to Mr. Tynes. Paramedics took him to hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Police believe some people may have information that has not yet been provided to investigators.
“If you know anything that hasn’t already been shared with police and could help with their investigation and lead to justice for Mr. Tynes and his family, I encourage you to speak up,” said Scott Armstrong, Attorney General and Minister of Justice. “Even details that seem insignificant could be the crucial evidence that police are missing.”
