Third-Quarter Results, 2025-26

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corp. (NSLC) released its third-quarter financial results today, March 31.

Total sales from September 29 to December 28, 2025, were up 2.3 per cent to $236.2 million, with an increase in both beverage alcohol and cannabis sales compared with the same time last year.

Beverage alcohol sales increased 1.1 per cent to $201.4 million, and cannabis sales increased 10.0 per cent to $34.8 million.

Earnings increased 1.3 per cent to $76.7 million.

Sales of Nova Scotia products increased by 10.3 per cent to $37.9 million. Locally produced beverage alcohol sales increased 11.7 per cent to $28.6 million, including:

  • ready-to-drink products increased 14.7 per cent to $9.8 million
  • spirits increased 14.5 per cent to $4.9 million
  • wine increased 14.1 per cent to $5.6 million
  • craft beer increased 5.3 per cent to $8.3 million.

Local cannabis sales increased 6.3 per cent to $9.4 million, with Nova Scotia cannabis products accounting for 26.9 per cent of all cannabis sales.

In December, following the Province’s announcement, the NSLC resumed sales of existing product inventory from the United States, which had been paused since March 4, 2025, in response to U.S. tariffs. Third-quarter sales of U.S. products totalled $6.7 million.
