Community Network Grant Announcement
Today, February 20, Community Network Grants were awarded to 13 organizations for projects across Nova Scotia that address systemic hate, inequity and racism. Attorney General and Justice Minister Scott Armstrong, Minister responsible for the Office of Equity and Anti-Racism, announced the funding at the library in Truro, with representatives from the Truro Colchester Welcome Network Association, which received $40,000 for its work to support inclusion and retention of newcomers.
