Institute of Skilled Trades Announcement

Nolan Young, Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration, announced the launch of the Institute of Skilled Trades today, February 10, at Nova Scotia Community College’s (NSCC's) Akerley campus in Dartmouth. The initiative, a partnership between the Province and NSCC, will help ensure students and apprentices access the modern training and equipment they will need to succeed in the workforce.
