Affordable Housing Announcement in Amherst
The new affordable housing community The Groves at Hillsdale in Amherst is led by United Way Maritimes, with support from government and community partners. An announcement was held at Amherst Town Hall today, January 19. The Groves at Hillsdale will have 47 homes when complete. Twenty-eight of them will be sold under a shared ownership model between the buyer and United Way Maritimes, while the other 19 will have affordable monthly rent. (Province of Nova Scotia)
