Second-Quarter Results, 2025-26
The Nova Scotia Liquor Corp. (NSLC) released its second-quarter financial results today, December 2.
Total sales from June 30 to September 28, 2025, were up 1.9 per cent to $250.4 million, with an increase in both beverage alcohol and cannabis sales compared with the same time last year.
Beverage alcohol sales increased 0.6 per cent to $214.4 million, and cannabis sales increased 10.4 per cent to $36.0 million.
Earnings decreased 1.6 per cent to $82.5 million.
Sales of Nova Scotia products increased by 13.4 per cent to $44.1 million. Locally produced beverage alcohol sales increased 16.4 per cent to $34.5 million, including:
- spirits increased 22.3 per cent to $3.9 million
- ready-to-drink products increased 21.8 per cent to $14.5 million
- wine increased 19.5 per cent to $6.0 million
- craft beer increased 5.8 per cent to $10.0 million.
Local cannabis sales increased 3.8 per cent to $9.6 million, with Nova Scotia cannabis products accounting for 26.7 per cent of all cannabis sales.
