New Access Nova Scotia Centre for Sydney
The Access Nova Scotia centre serving Sydney is moving to Membertou.
“We are very proud and excited to open the first Access Nova Scotia office in a Mi’kmaw community,” said Jill Balser, Minister of Service Nova Scotia. “This move reflects our commitment to accessibility and inclusivity and will provide high-quality service to Nova Scotians in a welcoming new space.”
The new, modern and fully accessible office will be in Mi’kma’ki Place, 280 Kenikala Cres., in the new Seventh Exchange development.
The new centre will continue to provide the full range of services, including:
- Registry of Motor Vehicles
- Land Registry
- Residential Tenancies Program
- marriage licences.
The Access Nova Scotia centre at 380 Kings Rd. will close permanently on Friday, November 7, at 4:30 p.m.
The new centre will be closed to the public on Monday, November 10, to allow for setup, and on Tuesday, November 11, for Remembrance Day.
It will open to the public on Wednesday, November 12, at 8:30 a.m.
