Drivers can now schedule and pay for their road test online.

Using the new online system, people can also cancel, reschedule or make changes to an already scheduled road test for a standard driver’s licence.

“Nova Scotians expect government services to be available online,” said Jill Balser, Minister of Cyber Security and Digital Solutions and Minister of Service Nova Scotia. “Preparing for a driver’s test can be stressful enough. Allowing people to book online puts them in control and makes the whole process faster, simpler and stress-free.”

In the past, road tests could only be booked by calling Access Nova Scotia during regular business hours. Any changes to a booking required another call.

The new service streamlines the process, allowing people to book, pay and manage their driving test in one place, at: https://novascotia.ca/book-a-road-test/

The Province is undertaking a digital transformation of government services and delivery to give Nova Scotians better access to the supports and programs they need.

Quotes:

“The new booking service is so easy to use. Being able to view all available road tests in one place, any time of the day, makes scheduling for our student drivers a breeze. This is a huge support for us as a business and is especially convenient for individual drivers who are managing their own appointments.”
