Photos From Wildfire Response at Lake George, Kings County - October 1
The Lake George wildfire near Aylesford, Kings County, is still considered out of control. While evacuations have taken place, there are no reports of structure damage. On scene are 23 Department of Natural Resources (DNR) firefighters, 20 local firefighters, four planes from the Northwest Territories, two planes from Newfoundland and Labrador, two contracted helicopters and 18 pieces of heavy equipment building fire breaks. The photos below were taken Wednesday, October 1.
