Susan Corkum-Greek, MLA for Lunenburg, on behalf of Colton LeBlanc, Minister of Growth and Development announced the opening of the first phase of the housing for healthcare workers project at the former Wheelhouse Motel in Lunenburg today, August 18. The former Wheelhouse Motel in Lunenburg has been converted into 13 rental units for healthcare workers in the community.

Pavers Rasali Sunar, a continuing care assistant in Lunenburg, and her daughter Vedika Sunar, 9, have recently moved to Canada and are living in the new housing for healthcare unit that was officially opened today, Aug. 18.
