NEW WORK


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 107, Lower Sackville

There will be two closures on Highway 107 in Lower Sackville starting Tuesday, August 5:

  • the northbound on-ramp to Highway 102 at Exit 4C
  • the southbound on-ramp at the new Highway 102 overpass

Traffic will be detoured to the Exit 4C roundabouts:

  • Highway 102 northbound traffic will exit at the first roundabout
  • Highway 102 southbound traffic and traffic heading toward Halifax or the Annapolis Valley will proceed to the second roundabout

The detour will be in place for about six weeks.


VICTORIA COUNTY: Foyles Truss Bridge, Baddeck

The Foyles Truss Bridge on Big Baddeck Road will be closed for repairs from Tuesday, August 5, until Friday, August 15.

Traffic control will be on-site. Motorists should expect delays.


CONTINUING WORK


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104 Overpass, North River

The Highway 104 westbound overpass is reduced to one lane for repairs until Friday, October 31.

Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the lane is closed 24 hours a day. Signs are in place, and motorists should expect delays.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Lower Portapique Bridge, Portapique

The Lower Portapique Bridge on Trunk 2 is closed for repairs until further notice.

The detours are East Montrose Road and West Montrose Road.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 311, North River

Route 311 from Farnham Mill Road to Mountain Lee Road is reduced to one lane for bridge work until Friday, October 31.

Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect delays.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche

Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.


INVERNESS COUNTY: East Street, Port Hood

East Street from Trunk 19 to the end of pavement is reduced to one lane for paving, ditching and culvert replacement until Saturday, August 30.

Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect delays.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Hunters Road, Port Hood

Hunters Road from Trunk 19 to Little Mabou Road will be reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset. Motorists should expect delays.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Kings Road, Port Hastings

Kings Road from Charles MacLean Road to the end of pavement is reduced to one lane for paving, ditching and culvert replacement until Saturday, August 30.

Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect delays.


INVERNESS COUNTY: New Ferry Road, Mabou

New Ferry Road from Little Mabou Road northerly for about 900 metres is reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, October 31.

Traffic control will be on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset. Motorists should expect delays.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19, Port Hood

Trunk 19 from 75 metres south of East Street northerly to the Southwest Mabou Bridge is reduced to one lane for paving, ditching and culvert replacement until Tuesday, September 30.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Upper Southwest Mabou Road, Port Hood

Upper Southwest Mabou Road from Trunk 19 to Beaton Road is reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset. Motorists should expect delays.


PICTOU COUNTY: Pryor McDonald Bridge, McPhersons Mills

The northbound lane of the Pryor McDonald Bridge on Route 347 (Sherbrooke Road), is closed for repairs to the bridge until Friday, September 26.

Temporary traffic signals are in place, and work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset. The lane will be closed 24 hours a day, and drivers should expect delays.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Janvrin Harbour Road, Port Royal

Janvrin Harbour Road from 1.4 kilometres west of Moucliere Bridge westerly to the end of pavement (about four kilometres) is reduced to one lane for repaving and guardrail installation until Friday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Loch Lomond Road, Grand River

Loch Lomond Road 3.2km north of St. Peters Forchu Road will be closed for culvert repairs from Wednesday, July 30 until Friday, August 22.

Detour and traffic control will be in place, expect delays.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Loch Lomond Road, Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond Road has alternating lane closures for upgrades and culvert repairs until Monday, September 29.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset, including weekends.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Soldiers Cove Road, Soldiers Cove

Soldiers Cove Road is reduced to one lane for repaving and culvert repairs until Friday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. Weekend work is expected.


RICHMOND COUNTY: St. Peters Fourchu Road, St. Esprit

St. Peters Fourchu Road from 0.4 kilometres east of Ferguson Road easterly for four kilometres is reduced to one lane for repaving and guardrail installation until Friday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. Weekend work is expected.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Veterans Memorial Drive, Arichat

Veterans Memorial Drive is reduced to one lane for paving, ditching and culvert repairs until Tuesday, September 30.

Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.


RICHMOND COUNTY: West Bay Road, French Cove

West Bay Road is reduced to one lane for paving, ditching and culvert repairs until Tuesday, September 30.

Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.


YARMOUTH COUNTY: Pembroke Bridge, Yarmouth

The Pembroke Bridge on Pembroke Road is closed for replacement until Sunday, August 31.

Detour signs are in place.
