Upcoming Electoral Boundaries Meetings

NOTE: This release is issued on behalf of the electoral boundaries commission.

The 2025 electoral boundaries commission will hold public consultations related to the Acadian region of Chéticamp and area.

The commission was established in April to recommend electoral boundaries to provide effective representation of the area.

Consultations will be held:

• Wednesday, July 23 – Inverness, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Royal Canadian Legion Branch 132, 15857 Central Ave.
• Wednesday, July 23 – Chéticamp, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Canton Culturel, 15118 Cabot Trail
• Thursday, July 24 – Port Hawkesbury, noon to 2 p.m., Shannon Studio, Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre, 606 Reeves St.
