Bus Pass Program Expansion Announcement
Free annual bus passes will be provided to income assistance recipients, their spouses and dependants, and Disability Support Program participants in Cape Breton Regional Municipality starting this fall. A similar program is in place in Halifax Regional Municipality. Scott Armstrong, Minister of Opportunities and Social Development, made the announcement about the expansion to Cape Breton today, July 3, in Sydney Mines.
