Thirteen registered nurses working in continuing care have received their nurse prescriber certification, allowing them to prescribe medications for common ailments in their long-term care facilities. Ms. Bowles is one of 13 nurses in continuing care who recently completed advanced training to prescribe medications for common ailments.
