Decrease in HST Announced

The provincial portion of Nova Scotia’s HST – which combines the provincial value-added tax with the federal goods and services tax (GST) – will decrease to nine per cent from 10 on April 1, 2025, Premier Tim Houston announced today, October 23, in the media room at One Government Place, Halifax.
