Climate Change Funding Announcement in Kings County
The Province is supporting the Municipality of the County of Kings in greening its municipal fleet with $405,000 for electric vehicle charging stations. The funding is through the Sustainable Communities Challenge Fund, and the municipality is contributing $270,000 to the project.
Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister John Lohr, MLA for Kings North, made the announcement on behalf of Environment and Climate Change Minister Timothy Halman today, February 16, at the municipality's council chamber in Coldbrook.
