Investigation of Island Employment Association

Auditor General Kim Adair released her report on the investigation of Island Employment Association today, June 20.

The audit examined whether Island Employment Association (IEA) mismanaged public funds in the administration and delivery of employment-related programs in Cape Breton. The audit also included an examination of departmental oversight and IEA governance practices.
