Performance Audit of Green Fund
Auditor General
Auditor General Kim Adair released her performance audit of the Green Fund under the Department of Environment and Climate Change today, February 28.
The report examines the effectiveness of the Green Fund over its first two years. The fund was created in 2019 to receive the revenue from Nova Scotia’s cap-and-trade program. That program auctions emissions allowances, giving companies the right to emit greenhouse gases.
The report, a detailed news release in English and French, an infographic and a highlight video can be found on the Office of the Auditor General’s website at: https://oag-ns.ca/
