Nova Scotia to Advance Business Relationships in the Middle East
Premier Stephen McNeil is travelling to the Middle East, Sunday, June 2, to help promote business relationships, trade and investment for Nova Scotia.
He will be joined by Minister of Immigration Lena Metlege Diab, Minister of Internal Services, Patricia Arab, senior government officials and leaders from the local business and university communities.
Due to security reasons, a briefing outlining other details of the trip will be held after the premier returns on June 15.
“We have built successful trading relationships in markets around the world, and further diversification can lead to continued economic growth here at home,” said Premier McNeil.
“I will continue to pursue opportunities for Nova Scotia businesses and key sectors to thrive. The Middle East may open more doors to immigration growth, post-secondary education connections and business collaboration.”
