Historical Debates Now Online
The Legislative Library has posted all of the available debates of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly (Hansard) from 1868–1993 online.
This gives Nova Scotians access to the historical debates of the House, such as the 1907 debate on Prohibition in Nova Scotia and the debates leading up to the opening of the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge in Halifax.
Hansard did not transcribe debates from 1917-1919, and 1921-1950, so debates during those dates are not available.

All of the available Legislative Council debates from 1858-1861 and 1875-1922 are also now online and can be viewed at http://legcat.gov.ns.ca/record=b1062778 .
The Legislative Library is now in the process of making the Journals of the House of Assembly from 1867-1900 available online.
