Speech from the Throne to be Broadcast Live

The fifth session of the 61st General Assembly of the Nova Scotia legislature will open Tuesday, March 26. Lt.-Gov. J. J. Grant will open by reading the speech from the throne.

Nova Scotians can watch the speech live on television and the Internet. Legislative Television will broadcast the ceremony on EastLink Digital Cable channel 95 and EastLink TV, beginning at about 2 p.m. Closed captioning will also be provided.

The ceremony will also be available live on the provincial government website at www.novascotia.ca .
