PREMIER'S OFFICE--Premier Announces Staffing Change
- --------------------------------------------------------------Premier Darrell Dexter today, March 15, announced the appointment of Paul Black as principal secretary to the premier.
Mr. Black has served as the premier's director of policy and community relations since 2009.
"Paul has been one of my most trusted advisors, providing leadership on files such as forestry transition, shipbuilding, and energy," said Premier Dexter. "He will make a seamless transition into this new role. I am fortunate to have him on the team."
Matt Hebb, who has been the principal secretary to Premier Dexter for the past number of years, has accepted a role outside government.
"I have known Matt for 15 years, and I want to thank him sincerely for his dedication to me personally, and to making life better for Nova Scotia families," said Premier Dexter. "He has been a great asset to this government, and I wish him the best of luck in his new role."
The new appointment is effective March 31.
