Deadline for Online Submissions Extended
Nova Scotians who want to share their thoughts on the economic future of Queens County and neighbouring communities have another two weeks to participate in the Transition Advisory Team's online survey.
The deadline for submissions is extended to Wednesday, Oct. 31.
"I encourage anyone who wasn't able to attend the public consultations to take the opportunity to participate in the survey," said advisory team chair Ron Smith.
The online survey can be found at novascotia.ca/bowatertransition . People can also share input by calling toll-free 1-855-354-2612, e-mailing [email protected] or writing the Transition Advisory Team Office, 7 Henry Hensey Dr., Liverpool N.S., B0T 1K0.
Almost 250 people attended the two public discussions last month in Liverpool and Bridgewater. A summary of the ideas raised at the sessions is available on the advisory team's webpage.
The transition advisory team, appointed by Premier Darrell Dexter in June, will report back to the community in December.
