Final Report to be Delivered Sept. 24
The Electoral Boundaries Commission will deliver its Final Report to the Attorney General on Monday, Sept. 24.
The report will be released to the public at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25, on the commission's website.
"We have selected Sept. 25 to ensure all commission members can be present for the release of the final report," said commission chair Teresa MacNeil. "I want to thank Nova Scotians for their significant input, interest and patience with this process."
Under the House of Assembly Act, an electoral boundary review is required after every 10-year census to reflect population shifts and to adjust electoral boundaries, if necessary. Terms of reference were set by a select committee of the House of Assembly after consultation around the province.
