Speech from the Throne to be Broadcast Live
The fourth session of the 61st General Assembly of the Nova Scotia legislature will open on Thursday, March 29. Lt.-Gov. Mayann Francis will open by reading the speech from the throne.
Nova Scotians interested in viewing the speech will be able to watch it live on television and the Internet.
Legislative Television will broadcast the ceremony on EastLink Digital Cable channel 95 and EastLink TV, beginning at about 2 p.m.
The ceremony will also be available live on the provincial government website at www.gov.ns.ca .
