Premier Encourages Nova Scotians to support Halifax Rainmen in National Championship
The Halifax Rainmen will face off with the London Lightening in Game 3 of the National Basketball League of Canada's championships in Halifax on Wednesday, March 21.
Premier Darrell Dexter is encouraging Nova Scotians to get behind the Rainmen and come out to cheer on the home team.
"This is a great opportunity to enjoy what promises to be a great ball game," said Premier Dexter. "I encourage all Nova Scotians to support the Rainmen as they fight for the national title."

"Filling the Metro Centre with Rainmen fans would give the team a tremendous boost," said Andre Levingston, team owner. "A full house would go a long way in helping us bring a championship title to Halifax."
Those who can't make it to the game, can watch live on Eastlink TV, beginning at 7 p.m.
