Premier Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Paul O'Regan
Premier Darrell Dexter expressed his condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Paul O'Regan, who passed away Saturday, March 10, in Florida.
"Paul O'Regan will be remembered for changing the face of the industry he was so proud to be a part of," said Premier Dexter. "He was a remarkable businessman and champion for his community."
Mr. O'Regan was the co-owner of several car dealerships in Nova Scotia, and helped build one of the largest automotive organizations in Canada. O'Regans is recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies.
A native of Parrsboro, Mr. O'Regan was well-regarded in the community, generously supporting several organizations including the Ship's Company Theatre.
"Mr. O'Regan's passion for his family, his work, and his community will certainly be missed," said Premier Dexter.
