"Ms. Harker has been a member of the commission since 2005 and has spent most of her working life on human rights issues," said Ross Landry, Minister responsible for the administration of the Human Rights Act. "She will be a strong advocate for the people of Nova Scotia and her extensive experience will help her meet the challenges of this new appointment."
