New England Governors, Eastern Canadian Premiers Meet

The New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers have agreed to continue working on issues of mutual importance such as energy, trade and shipping.

The premiers and governors wrapped up the 35th annual conference today, July 11 in Halifax. Premier Darrell Dexter co-chaired the conference with Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin.

A list of resolutions passed during the two-day conference will be available tonight at www.scics.gc.ca.
