Minister Leads Delegation to China

Education Minister Ramona Jennex is leading a delegation to China, beginning today, June 15, under the banner of the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada.

Ms. Jennex is the incoming chair of the council. This is the second high-level consultation on education collaboration between the two countries.

"I look forward to our discussion in furthering education collaboration between Canada and China," said Ms. Jennex. "International experiences enrich a student's overall educational experience.

"China and Canada's provinces and territories have a long history of exchanges in education, and we hope there will be opportunities for more such initiatives in the future."

While in China, Ms. Jennex will also attend graduation ceremonies at two schools offering Nova Scotia curriculum.
