Premier Announces By-Election Date

Premier Darrell Dexter, today, May 21, announced that a by-election will be held in the riding of Cape Breton North, on Tuesday, June 21.

"The timing is right for the by-election in Cape Breton North," said Premier Dexter. "I wanted to ensure that the election took place before the summer months and that the residents of Cape Breton North will have representation in the House of Assembly this fall."
