Budget 2011 Overview Available Now

Nova Scotians can now get a glimpse into what will be in the upcoming provincial budget.

Finance Minister Graham Steele delivered a speech earlier this week providing an overview of the government's financial plan and priorities for new investments this year.

"The people I've met during my pre-budget consultation tour want to know more about our financial situation and many may not get a chance to tune in on budget day," said Mr. Steele. "The provincial budget affects everyone and this is one way we are making information available to them."

The 19-minute video is available on the Department of Finance website at www.gov.ns.ca/finance . Budget day is set for Tuesday, April 5.
