Indexed Minor Injury Cap Released for 2011

New regulations passed last spring require the minor injury cap for automobile insurance be indexed annually to match inflation.

The revised minor injury cap for 2011 is $7,665, which reflects Nova Scotia's 2.2 per cent consumer price index.

The indexed minor injury cap for 2011 is posted on the Department of Finance website at www.gov.ns.ca/finance.

The change in the minor injury cap is not connected to the auto insurance review which is underway.
