Premier Offers Condolences to Minister, Family

Premier Darrell Dexter is expressing sympathy today, June 29, to Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations Minister Ramona Jennex.

Ms. Jennex's son, Fraser Williams, 21, passed away after a motor vehicle crash more than a week ago.

"I want to express my sympathy for Ramona and her family at this extremely difficult time," said Premier Dexter. "I know Nova Scotians share my support and hope that she and her family will get the privacy they need in the days ahead."

Deputy Premier Frank Corbett is taking over Ms. Jennex's duties temporarily. In addition to her Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations portfolio, Ms. Jennex is also responsible for Emergency Management, Immigration and Youth.
