Premier-Designate Dexter to Name Cabinet June 19

Premier-Designate Darrell Dexter will name his Executive Council in a ceremony at the Cunard Centre in Halifax on Friday, June 19.

The public is invited to attend the 6 p.m. swearing-in ceremony for the 12-member cabinet, to be held at 961 Marginal Rd.

"It's an historic event and we wanted to share it with all Nova Scotians," said Premier-Designate Dexter. "It's an exciting time and we're looking forward to tackling the challenges at hand."

The premier and other members of the Executive Council will be sworn in by Lt.-Gov. Mayann Francis.
