Museum Holds Natural Dye Workshop

Go back in time Friday, June 19, at Highland Village Museum in Iona, Victoria Co., to learn about various dyeing techniques from the 19th century.

Natural dyes will be used to add colour to cloth and yarns. Participants will also learn what materials were used to produce a wide range of hues in the wool dyeing process and will be able to dip a few small skeins or coils of thread.

The workshop, called Mary's Bonny Plaid, is from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $10.00.
