Advance Voting Polls Open June 5-6

Advance voting for the 38th general election will be held Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., across the province.

"It's easy to vote on one of the two advance voting days," said chief electoral officer Christine McCulloch. "It takes most voters only a few minutes to cast their ballot.

"If voters are not already on the list of electors, they can register at an advance polling station, provided they bring valid identification with their name, current address and signature, or a combination of documents with that information."

Electors can find the address of their advance poll location on the back of the yellow voter information card mailed to them by Elections Nova Scotia.

Electors who did not receive a voter information card, or who received one with incorrect information, may contact their local Elections Nova Scotia office or call toll-free, 1-800-565-1504, Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
