Forty-Seven Visit Assessment Clinic

Forty-seven people visited the influenza assessment clinic at Hants Community Hospital from noon Wednesday, April 29 to noon today, April 30.

The clinic, at 89 Payzant Dr., Windsor, operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to serve Windsor-area residents who are experiencing flu-like symptoms and wish to see a health care professional. It alleviates congestion in the Emergency Department and helps prevent the spread of flu or other communicable diseases to other patients at the hospital.

Capital Health reminds people that general infection control practices, such as washing hands, coughing into your sleeve, and staying home when ill, can help to reduce transmission of viruses.
