Screening for Films Supported by Undergraduate Production Fund
The first films created through the Film Nova Scotia bachelor of fine arts Film Production Fund are set to debut on the big screen Thursday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. at Park Lane Cinema in Halifax.
The fund provided five fourth-year students with a $2,500 production grant to assist with their undergraduate thesis films.
The students recognized through the 2009 program are Joel McLeod for the film Ghost Vase, Chantale Reid for the film Porcelain, Heather DiPinto for the film Insert Colour, Heather Young for the film Dog Girl and Tiffany Westwood for the film Belly of the Whale.
The short films will screen as part of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design annual screening of undergraduate thesis films.
