Maritime Universities Grant More Degrees in 2007
Credentials granted by public Maritime universities reached an all-time high in 2007 with 16,391 degrees, certificates and diplomas issued.

The total number of undergraduate degrees granted in Nova Scotia was 7,972, an increase of 7.8 per cent over 2006. They increased by 8.4 per cent in Prince Edward Island to 660. There were 4,372 undergraduate degrees granted at New Brunswick universities, a decrease of 0.5 per cent.
A total of 5,237 credentials were granted in New Brunswick, 10,455 in Nova Scotia, and 796 in Prince Edward Island.
