Applications Being Accepted for Non-Adjudicative Boards

The province is seeking applications from citizens from every walk of life to make a difference and serve the public on Nova Scotia's non-adjudicative agencies, boards and commissions.

The agencies, boards and commissions have many different roles. Some advise, while others make financial, business and policy decisions or recommendations to government. The decisions and recommendations have far-reaching implications for Nova Scotians.

There are a wide range of opportunities from housing boards and health authority boards, to licencing boards and fire safety councils.

For a complete list of current and upcoming vacancies, or to learn more about the appointment process, visit the Executive Council office website at www.gov.ns.ca/exec_council or call 424-4877 in HRM, or toll-free at 1-800-206-6844.

The province is committed to affirmative action to promote equitable participation of aboriginal people, women, people with disabilities and members of racially visible groups where they are under-represented.
