Fall Community Information Sessions

The Office of African Nova Scotian Affairs is holding a series of information sessions in African Nova Scotian communities this fall.

This round of meetings will inform the community about the office's current programs and future plans. At some sessions, representatives from various departments and organizations will share information on their programs aimed at the African Nova Scotian community.

The following sessions are being held in African Nova Scotian communities in October.

Cape Breton:

• North Sydney: Tuesday, Oct. 21, North Sydney Fire Hall, 14 Pierce St. The Black Educators Association's new regional educator will attend this session.

• Whitney Pier: Wednesday, Oct. 22, Hankard Hall, 80 Hankard St. Co-presenter: Public Service Commission. Subject: Understanding the provincial Public Service Commission.
