Beginning Monday, Sept. 29, Trunk 16 between Boylston bridge and the Department Of Natural Resources office, will be reduced to one lane and traffic will be detoured around the work site for slope repairs and repaving until Friday, Oct. 31.
Traffic control people will be on site during the day and traffic signals will control traffic at night. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday with possible Sunday work.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 277
Delays can be expected on Route 277, at the intersection with Highway 2 at Elmsdale, for railway crossing construction Sunday, Sept. 28 and Monday, Sept. 29.

PICTOU COUNTY: MacCulloch Brook Bridge
MacCulloch Brook Bridge, between Acadia Avenue, Stellarton and Drummond Road, Westville, will be closed for upgrading from Monday, Sept. 29 until Friday, Oct. 10.

Hurlburt Falls Bridge will be closed for repairs Monday, Sept. 29 to Friday, Oct. 3.

Edgar bridge on Route 201 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for bridge painting until Friday, Oct. 3. Road is passable for emergency vehicles.

Newcombe Bridge, about 17.4 kilometres west from the Cumberland-Colchester county line on Trunk 2, will have a one-lane closure to replace the rail and repair concrete until Friday, Oct. 10.

Trunk 1 and Back Road at Exit 25 on Highway 101 will be closed for construction of a new interchange until Monday, Dec. 15.

Ingramport Bridge on Trunk 3, will be closed for repairs. A temporary bridge is in place south of the work zone. Work continues until Sunday, Nov. 30.

About one kilometre of St. Margarets Bay Road, from Albert Walker Driver to Northwest Arm Drive, will have one-lane closures for clearing, subgrading, graveling and paving until Friday, Oct. 31.

Sections of Route 333 (Prospect Road,) between Beechville and Prospect Bay, will be reduced to one lane to construct a bicycle lane.
All lanes will remain open during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Work is scheduled to be finished Tuesday, Sept. 30.

HANTS COUNTY: Chip Sealing
Several road sections in Hants County will be chip sealed during September. Affected roads are Trunk 14, Route 215 and Route 224, until Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Traffic delays are expected and there will be loose stones on the road surface after work crews have left the area.
Motorists are advised to obey signs and personnel, and drive with caution in the area.
The work will protect pavement and help prevent potholes.

Trunk 14, known as the Windsor-Chester Road, and Route 215 will have stop-and-go traffic for chip sealing until Tuesday, Sept 30.

HANTS COUNTY: Bog Road Overpass Closed
The Bog Road overpass over Highway 101 is closed until Sunday, Nov. 30, It will be replaced as part of the Highway 101 twinning project.
A marked detour route is available on Rand Street, Bishopville Road, and Old Post Road.

HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Bridge, Highway 101
Continuing work on the new bridge and approaches at Halfway River on Highway 101 will require intermittent lane closures on the existing on- and off-ramps at Exit 8 until Friday, Sept. 26.

Traffic on Route 215 in the Urbania area near Stewiacke will be detoured because of damage to a culvert. A two-kilometre detour is provided on Ox Bow Road (known locally as Old Loop Shore Road) until further notice.

The Grand Etang Bridge in the community of Grand Etang will occasionally be reduced to one lane for bridge replacement until Friday, Oct. 31.
A detour is available via a temporary bridge, marked with signs and directional lighting. Traffic control people will be on site.

Murray Truss Bridge on the Murray Hill Road is closed because of storm damage. The bridge will be assessed and the road closed until repairs are completed.
