Political Contributions Regime Annual Report For 2007 Available
Contributors that donated more than $50 during the 2007 calendar year and information on the province's new political contributions guidelines are included in an annual report released today, June 30.
The Political Contributions Regime Annual Report for 2007 also lists disclosure statements filed by Nova Scotia's four recognized political parties, their electoral district associations and candidates in the Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage byelection.
The statements disclose the names and addresses of all contributors who donated more than $50 during the 2007 calendar year, and the annual reports of the recognized political parties summarizing official income tax receipts issued.
Disclosure is made by Christine McCulloch, chief electoral officer, and designated person in accordance with the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act.
The statements are available on the Elections Nova Scotia website at www.electionsnovascotia.ns.ca/politicalcontributions.asp or from the Elections Nova Scotia office at 7037 Mumford Rd., Suite 6, Halifax, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
