Meeting and Submissions on Immigration Program

A legislature committee wants to hear from people who participated in the province's nominee program for immigrants.

Nominees and people who mentored immigrants through the Office of Immigration program can appear before the public accounts committee Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Halifax or submit written submissions.

People interested in speaking to the committee must pre-register by calling Charlene Rice, clerk, Legislative Committees Office at 902-424-4494, toll-free at 1-888-388-6489 or by e-mail at <[email protected].> The deadline for registration is Friday, Feb. 1.

Written submissions can be sent to Charlene Rice, Legislative Committees Office, 3rd Floor, Dennis Building, 1740 Granville St., PO Box 2630, Station M, Halifax, N.S., B3J 3N5 or e-mailed to <[email protected].> They must be received or postmarked by Feb. 1.
