Communications Director Hired

Premier Rodney MacDonald announced today, Oct. 18, that broadcaster Wade Keller has been appointed communications director for his office.

Mr. Keller will leave his current post as senior producer and assistant news director at CTV-Atlantic, where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of CTV's Maritime newsroom.

He has been in the broadcasting industry for 20 years, starting with CKOB Radio in Renfrew, Ontario.

Mr. Keller began his career in Nova Scotia year later at CJCB Radio in Sydney.

"I'm very pleased to have Wade join our communications team," said Premier MacDonald. "His wide knowledge of Nova Scotia and his extensive experience in media will be tremendous assets."

"This is a wonderful opportunity," Mr. Keller said. "It's a chance to learn and a chance to contribute. I am eager to do both."

Mr. Keller is expected to begin his new duties toward the beginning of November.
