Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage Byelection Oct. 2

Premier Rodney MacDonald announced today, Aug. 28, that a byelection will be held in the riding of Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

"Though it has only been a year since our last general election, it's important that all Nova Scotians have representation in the legislature, so the people of Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage will have an opportunity to elect their representative on Oct. 2," said Premier MacDonald.

The seat has been vacant since March.
